How do I publish my Rate Card to a Partner?

To make your rates available to a Partner, all required sections of the rate card must be completed. Therefore, After building your rate card, go to the Review section and verify that each section shows a Ready status.

Reviewing what changed

For a Port-to-Port Rate Card, Review & Publish lists your lanes and marks which ones were added, changed, or removed since your previous submission. Changed lanes are ordered to the top, so a card running to thousands of lanes still opens on the part you need to check.

A card you have never submitted has nothing to compare against, so the lanes are listed without change markers.

This is the last point at which an unintended rate can be caught before partners see it.

Sharing with partners

  1. Click Continue to Share in the lower-right corner of the screen to open the Shares tab.
  2. From there, click Share with Partners to open the sharing window. Inside, you'll find:
  • A search field for selecting connected Forwarders. You can select multiple partners to share your Rate Card with. For details on how to connect with a partner, see How Do I Start a Partnership?
  • An optional notes field.
  • A Markup over cost field for each partner you select. Leave it empty to share at cost. See Sharing a Rate Card with a markup.
  • An acknowledgment checkbox. This must be checked before the Rate Card can be submitted. If you try to share without ticking it, the checkbox is highlighted.

If the Rate Card is approved, it will be published and made available for use. If it is not approved, feedback will be provided so the required changes can be made before it is resubmitted.

After you share

The Shares tab lists every partner the card has gone to, each row showing whether it went At cost or at a percentage over your cost. A row marked Edits not yet shared means the card has changed since that partner received it.

Each row's action menu offers Change markup & reshare, Open conversation, View submission and Withdraw.

Note: Notification emails about a Rate Card go to the Rate Card's owner. Other people associated with the rate agent are not copied.
